Research shows that 27% of general practice appointments are avoidable. This equates to between 15 and 20 million appointments per year in England. For many of these avoidable appointments, patients could have gone to their local pharmacy for advice and support. National Diabetes Audit
Your diabetes service is taking part in the National Diabetes Audit (NDA). The NDA checks whether people with diabetes are getting good care. The NDA collects information about diabetes care from GP practices and hospitals. This information helps the NHS to improve care. The use of NDA information is controlled by law and strict rules of confidentiality.
The NDA is managed by NHS Digital (formerly known as the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC)), working with Diabetes UK and Public Health England.
Taking part in the NDA can help improve understanding of the quality of care for people with diabetes. But you can choose not to take part if you have concerns. For more information please click here.
Access after 18:30
Since Monday 3rd July 2017 the Surgery front door has been locked from 18:30 onwards for security reasons. If you have an appointment or enquiry after this time, please ring the doorbell at the pram park entrance and someone will let you in.
Our telephone system offers callers the opportunity to select the most appropriate department immediately, this should save time for callers and enable us to address queries more quickly. Please be careful to select the correct option as selecting the wrong option will delay you speaking to the most appropriate person to help you. All calls are recorded.
