*** Annual Patient Survey***

From Monday 5th December 2016 we will be running our annual patient survey and we encourage all patients who are approached to help us improve our services by returning the completed survey to us. 

*** Flu Vaccinations***

Please contact Reception to organise your Flu vaccination.

*** Patient Online ***

You can now access your medical records online.  For more details please follow the link to Online Services under Quick Links.

*** Travel Information ***

Please ensure you seek advice from your Practice Nurse at least 8 weeks before you intend to travel abroad!  Contact reception for a travel form, these assist the Practice Nurse in making an initial assessment of the vaccinations and advice you may need. 

***NAMED GP***

All patients have now been allocated to a Named GP who will take responsbility for the co-ordination of all appropriate patient services. Please note this does not affect your right to see a Doctor of your choosing when you attend the surgery. 

 

*** Hospital Phlebotomy ***

As of Wednesday 1st July 2015 Scarborough Hospital will no longer be providing a phlebtomy service on an ad-hoc basis for blood tests requested by the surgery. This also applies to patients who may work at Scarborough Hospital. All future blood tests MUST be done at Peasholm Surgery. Please see reception for an appointment.

 

*** Dental Problems ***

DOCTORS ARE NOT TRAINED IN DENTISTRY, RISK GETTING IT WRONG, AND CAN BE STRUCK OFF IF THEY MEDDLE IN IT. If you need to see a dentist out of hours, please contact NHS111

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as access your medical records, order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

Access and Parking

If you are disabled or have difficulty climbing stairs please ask to be seen in a ground floor consulting room. The surgery has been designed to provide access for the disabled.

There is parking in the road in front of the surgery; please ask at reception for a parking disc. Please do not park in the doctor’s bay which is for the doctor and emergency vehicles only.
